Project Overview
A Cambridge homeowner wanted high-end audio throughout their home without a single visible speaker — no "pie plates on the ceiling," as they put it. The challenge was delivering true room-filling, high-fidelity sound with speakers that disappear completely into the architecture. Slinger Solutions specified and installed Sonance Invisible Series speakers paired with Crestron distributed audio, delivering crystal-clear sound from surfaces you'd never guess were speakers.
Client Goals
- No visible speakers anywhere in the home
- No compromise in sound quality
- Full, room-filling audio in every space
- A clean, uninterrupted ceiling and wall aesthetic
- Reliable whole-home distributed audio
Our Solution
We installed Sonance Invisible Series IS8 speakers throughout the home. These mount behind the drywall and finish flush, so they blend completely into the ceiling and walls with zero visible footprint. Despite being fully concealed, they deliver crystal-clear, room-filling sound. Built-in protection circuitry means there's no risk of blowing them, so the client can push volume without worry. Crestron NAX distributed audio ties every zone together for seamless whole-home control.
