Deer Ridge Alarm Upgrade

This project in the Deer Ridge neighbourhood of Kitchener, ON involved a complete overhaul of an outdated and insufficient alarm system. After experiencing a break-in through a second-floor entry point, the homeowner felt vulnerable, unsafe, and under-protected. They contacted Slinger Solutions to design a modern, highly responsive security solution that would provide full interior and perimeter protection, real-time visibility, and more granular control than their previous system could offer.

We retrofitted the property with a complete Ajax security platform, expanding coverage across upper windows, exterior zones, and all interior floors. The homeowner can now arm the perimeter, individual floors, or the entire home independently, with instant camera-verified alerts for any triggered sensors. The result is a dramatically more secure estate home with intelligent detection, faster notifications, and a renewed sense of safety and control.

To restore the homeowner's confidence and significantly enhance overall protection, we installed a complete Ajax professional security system. This included advanced indoor motion sensors with built-in cameras, outdoor motion detectors for perimeter line crossing, upper-floor glassbreak sensors, and highly visible outdoor sirens.

Because this was a large estate retrofit, we used Ajax's wireless architecture to maintain a clean aesthetic with minimal disruption to the home. The system was programmed to provide granular arming modes, allowing the homeowner to secure individual floors or just the perimeter based on the time of day or occupancy.
